Past Life Journeys
What is a past life journey?
A past life journey is a 1:1 session where I help guide you through a past life for the purpose of gaining understanding and insight on issues that affect your current life. This modality is considered soul medicine as it is founded on the belief of reincarnation, karma and living memories stored in your subconscious mind.
The basic premise is that when we die, we are reincarnated in new form. In each life we engage in certain relationships and situations for a purpose. That purpose is to challenge our human Self to learn a life lesson in order to grow and develop on a deeper soul level. Each relationship and situations asks us to make certain decisions and take certain actions that will either end karmic contracts, create new karmic energy or keep us in a loop of repetitive patterns that do not serve our higher purpose.
With information from our subconscious mind and from the vault of collective consciousness we learn that our actions have an impact. The experience encourages us to take responsibility for our current lives and feel confident that by choosing to live and interact with the world differently we can alter our fates and end our suffering.
What happens during a past life journey?
Past life regression begins with intention. What soul lesson or life lesson are you trying to learn today? What issues from your current life are you trying to understand? What is it about your life that causes you suffering? What relationship patterns (to others and to Self) are you trying to change?
In order to get the most out of your journey, it is best to have a specific intention or question to bring to your session. We must always remember that even though Spirit and the Universe are always working in our favor, they will not always give us exactly what we ask for. . . so even with our best intentions, we may receive a message about something else completely. This just means there are more lessons to be learned before your current one can be addressed.
We will speak in depth about your issue: how long you have been experiencing this issue, how you have handle it thus far, who in your life is involved in this issue and what your hope is to get out of the session.
From there, we begin by getting you into a deep meditative space. Your body needs to be at its most relaxed state in order for your subconsious mind to be activated. We do this through deep breathing exercises and engaging your imagination.
Depending on how much time we have together, we will bring you to your internal safe space, lead you down to your subconsious (usually by elevator, stairs or diving into a body of water) and pass by a childhood memory before entering into the past life that is most relevant to the issue you have brought to our session.
When in your past life you will find yourself in a scene. You'll take in all the activity, the people, the weather and yourself. What are you wearing? What do you look like? What are are you doing? Who are you interacting with in this life?
Your subconsious will show you what you need to see, who you need to speak to and how you die in this past life. As your guide, I will ask you questions about the karmic energy, lessons and contracts that you will need to leave in this life. I will also ask you about the karmic energy and strengths that you will need bring forward with you into this life.
After the regression, we will review the key findings and insights of your regression. From there everything is up to you. Will you approach your life and relationships differently based on what you learned? The true medicine comes when we enact and embody the energy that the past life regression reveals to us moving forard.
What do you bring to a Past Life Journey?
- A computer, phone or laptop
- A white candle
- Wear a comfortable white top or bring a white blanket/towel to cover yourself
-A journal and a pen
- A bottle or glass of water
- A pillow or stuffed animal to hold (optional)
- An eye mask (optional)
- Noise cancelling earbuds or headphones (optional and recommended)
What do you do before a Past Life Journey?
-Identify a comfortable, private and safe place where you can call in via Zoom. Please check your audio and computer set up to ensure the most comfort and less time adjusting settings. I will need to see your breathing during our session.
- Avoid drinking alcohol or taking harsh substances at least 48 hours before your session. It is recommended to avoid caffeine for at least 12 hours before your session. Cannabis consumption is up to you as long as you feel comfortable going internal while under the influence.
- Schedule time alone at least 30 minutes to two hours before your session. This is to ensure that you do not have the unnecessary influence of others' energies on your subconscious mind during the session.
-Schedule time alone for at least 15 minutes to half an hour after the session in order to have time for integration. You can use this time to lay on the ground quietly, in a meditative position contemplating on your experience or engaging in self reflective journaling or art making.
- In order to better bring in the medicine, practice intentional contemplative activities everyday leading up to your session. Meditate on the intentions you have for the session. Think about any spirit guides, ancestors or angels you would like to invite on your journey. Engage your subconscious by paying attention to dreams, synchronicities and "signs" through your waking life.
