Hello, my name is Lauren.

I am 2nd generation Ilokano-American, currently residing on Patwin/Bay Miwok land, also known as Solano County, CA. I am a brown bodied, former community organizer, sexual assault survivor and single mother.

I have a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University and a Master of Arts in Holistic Counseling & Transpersonal Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I hold an active license to practice Marriage and Family Therapy in California.

During the day, I serve on the leadership of team of a local non profit behavioral health agency in Northern California. My role is a teacher and mentor to new therapists, counselors and healers entering the field.

Under the guidance of and with permission from the Creator, I serve as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, shadow worker and women’s liberation coach. My specialty is facilitating internal work through the subconscious mind & felt body helping people:

  • to release emotional energy living in the body and blocking their spirit

  • to reconnect with their inner knowing, intuition and internal spaces

  • to create deeper intimacy with the Self and Others through mirroring, reflection and integration

  • to break generational cycles of trauma through past life journeys, shadow work coaching and inner child healing

  • to decolonize healing spaces by returning to indigenous/ancestral wisdom, community building through resistance and sitting in circle with others

My healing practice is informed by the teachings of my family, friends, transnational feminists & community organizers, traditional Filipino healers (hilots), Buddhist teachers, martial arts practitioners and old school white psychologists who took LSD and other drugs.

My teachers include Leny Strobel, Joy Ancheta, Rossa Socco, Daphnee Valdez, Virgil Mayor Apostol, Lane Wilcken, Nintochka Rosca, Jollene Levid, Ray Greenleaf, Gary Hoeber, Rulik Perla, Leyla Bavi, Isa Guccardi, Spring Washam, Mushim Patricia Ikeda, Eduardo Rocha and all my benevolent ancestors.

The therapeutic work I engage in is meant to serve those who have experienced childhood emotional neglect, sexual trauma and are in search of intergenerational healing from a decolonial, transnational feminist and anti-racist perspective.

I launched my spiritual life coaching business in 2023 when I started offering Past Life Journeys to people who were interested in settling karma from a past life. I’ve since included Brainspotting Intensives and an online transformative membership program for women of color called Loved & Liberated.

Previous to my coaching work, I spent 17 years as a forensic and community based mental health clinician working with low income, formerly incarcerated and homeless individuals with severe addiction and acute mental health diagnoses.

I advocated for clients in criminal court, conducted risk assessments for psychosis/homicidality/suicidality and counseled folks on how to navigate a system that wasn’t meant to see them survive.

In 2021, I opened a boutique private pay psychotherapy practice for women of color who identify as mothers, trauma survivors and children of Filipino immigrants.

To be honest, the work isn’t very much different.

I have held space, witnessed and listened to thousands of sacred stories for people, women specifically, who were just trying to move through their lives with ease, peace and a little bit of love.

When you come into a coaching relationship with me, there is no need to feel intimidated or inferior. I learn just as much about healing from my clients as they do from me. I am here to meet you in equanimity, compassion and genuine desire for your highest good.
